Jennifer Dawes

Jennifer Dawes

Since the age of 18, Jennifer Dawes knew she wanted to be a metalsmith. In 2000, that lifelong dream was realized when she created Jennifer Dawes Design. Jennifer Dawes wants “...to add something to this world, not take it away” with her line of sustainable jewelry. She began drawing attention as a proponent of the green jewelry movement in 2005; it is during this period that Dawes cited motherhood as a spiritual experience, altering the way she perceived her future and her craft.  As a board member of Ethical Metalsmiths, it comes as no surprise that Dawes’ handcrafted jewelry is created from recycled gold, conflict-free diamonds, and ethically mined gemstones. Jennifer’s values are represented in her bespoke adornments, where her love of architecture and the cultures of ancient civilizations shines through as rich textures and earth-toned metals.  Each piece is hand-made, fabricated, and finished at her studio in Sonoma County, California.
